Hair usually grows about a half inch to an inch per month so keeping it freshly cut every 6-8 weeks is a good idea.
Every 6-8 weeks is generally acceptable, so you can book color and hair appointments together.
Moisture is the number one key for keeping hair moisturized. There is a difference between conditioning, protein and moisture. Protein and moisture strengthen as well as putting nutrients in the hair. Conditioner just coats the hair and makes it feel soft and silky, when really it isn’t getting the moisture from the inside out.
Salon products have research and development behind them. They also have true proteins, moisturizers and volumizers in them. Over the counter products coat and can damage the hair with not giving the proper nutrients that professional products have leaving the hair feeling dry and coarse. Be aware and buy your professional product from your salon specialist.
Using products that will nourish, fortify & protect the skin on a daily basis.
Antioxidants are compounds that eliminate the harmful effects of free radicals from our blood and skin. Common antioxidants are vitamin C, vitamin E, catalase and beta carotene. Topical applicants are helpful in the prevention of photo aging or the effects of sun damage on the skin.
